EPOXY AND POLYURETHANE FLOOR PROTECTION
SYSTEMS
This is a unique range of high
performance screeds and coatings, epoxy or polyurethane resin based. The Thortex
system range for floor protection has an outstanding chemical and abrasion
resistance and excellent adhesion properties, meeting all the floor protection
and repair requirements for all type of traffic.
The protected surfaces have improved properties and an excellent resistance in
the acid and alkali environments, mineral oils as well as an increased
compressive strength.
The Thortex range includes a choice of products, from sealing systems up to
heavy-duty self-leveling systems. All systems provide an attractive, seamless,
hygienic finish coating preventing the germ growth.
For applications where the build-up of static electricity could cause the
sparking risk or the failure of sensitive instruments, Thortex provides a range
of anti-static grade of products incorporating a conductive aggregate.
For the environments where an outstanding cosmetic finishing of the floor is
required Thortex includes a choice of decorative systems into which ceramic
flakes and colored aggregate are included into polyurethane and epoxy resins.
Often to provide a resistant resin based floor finishing can require the use of
associated products designed to provide a perfect finishing coating:
- covings constructed at wall/floor interfaces enhancing easy cleaning;
- elastomeric products for expansion joints treatment.
